desde 2021

I started this art community Proyect in my neighbourhood in search of bringing the community together and promoting reflection on the role of ancestors and tradition in shaping the future. The sourdough chain and community bread-making serve as symbols of this goal, representing the blending of tradition and transition.

Características

Our sourdough started in 2021 as part of a community art project in the Bospolder-Tussendijken neighbourhood of Rotterdam, NL. The sourdough carries the ancestral powers of each participant added during the ritual of flour and the water, representing the group's connection to their ancestry and commitment to being better ancestors for future generations.
