Was baking bread with instant yeast and decided to give sourdough a go so that I could save money on buying instant yeast!
Doubles in volume in less than 2 hours
Lezzet ve Tat
- 100g All purpose
- 100g Water
- 50% All purpose
- 50% Water
- 150g All purpose
- 150g Water
Add water and stir to loosen mixture before adding in flour
150g All purpose 150g Water
Leave on counter to rise before using to prepare dough
Mixed well and left to sit in cupboard for 2 days.
100g All purpose 100g Water
Remove 1/2 of the mixture and add 1:1 ratio of AP flour and water twice a day for about 10 days and the starter is ready.
50% All purpose 50% Water
Nice, soft and fluffy
Used to make strombolis as well
