As I am currently restarting a new batch - I would say that details will be very middle of the road so to speak.
Taste & flavour
- 4oz Unbleached all purpose flour
- 4oz Water
Evacuate approximately 75% of starter and replace with approximately an equal amount of a 50/50 blend of flour and water. Stir into think batter and allow to begin fermenting.

4oz Unbleached all purpose flour
Combine 4 ounces unbleached all purpose flour with 4 ounces tepid (approximately 95*F) filtered or bottled water and mix into a think batter with no lumps.
