Spurt is a cheeky starter, approx 2 years old now so still developing. Makes great scones & crackers with the discarded starter.
Taste & flavour
Spurt is mostly kept in the fridge. I refresh taking approx half the starter and adding equal amounts of Spelt flour and water.
